Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Eyelid surgery can restore a youthful appearance of the periorbital area (upper and lower eyelids) by removing any redundant skin and by rearranging the position of the periorbital fat deposits.

No wonder it is one of the commonest aesthetic operations performed worldwide, blepharoplasty will take years off your look, achieving maximal improvement with minimal discomfort.

A short procedure, it can be done either under sedation or a short anesthetic.

Duration: 1-2 hr
Type of anaesthesia: Sedation or (short) General
Hospital stay: Day case
Recovery: 5-7 days

Face Lift

Modern facelift techniques are less invasive and combine smaller incisions and shorter recovery times. They can sometimes be combined with eyelid surgery.

Facelift will treat the effects of skin laxity (wrinkles, jowls) and restore a youthful appearance to the face.

Duration: 2-3 hr
Type of anesthesia: General
Hospital stay: Day case or 1 night
Recovery: 7-10 days

Forehead Lift

This can be performed as a stand- alone procedure or in combination with other surgery (see above).

There are two types of forehead lift: classical and endoscopic.

In classical forehead lift, incisions are hidden in the hairline and the forehead skin and soft tissues are lifted and held in place using absorbable sutures.

In endoscopic forehead lift, the forehead is lifted using keyhole surgery, through 3 small incisions.

Duration: 2-3 hr
Type of anesthesia: General
Hospital stay: Day case on 1 night
Recovery: 5-7 days

Neck Lift

Duration: 2-3 hr
Type of anesthesia: General
Hospital stay: Day case on 1 night
Recovery: 5-8 days

The neck is one of the most difficult areas to treat when it comes to skin laxity. Any excess skin is removed and sometimes the underlying neck muscle (platysma muscle) can be tightened, to give the neck a more youthful appearance.

Lipoaspiration Neck

Localised fat deposits in the neck area can be a major complaint for both male and female patients. These patients are usually younger and appear full in the neck area, when at the same time they can be slim overall.

In these cases, lipoaspiration of the neck can achieve excellent results in removing any excess volume from the neck area and considerably improving the patients appearance and confidence.

Duration: 1 hr
Type of anesthesia: General
Hospital stay: Day case
Recovery: 5 days

Fat grafting / Lipofilling

This novel technique consists of harvesting fat stem cells from one area of the body and transferring it to another. Fat stem cells can be used in the face to fill wrinkles, enhance lip volume and provide concentrated skin nutrients to improve skin texture.

This procedure can be performed alone or in combination with any of the above operations.
